She works with children, adolescents, and young adults with a wide range of therapeutic concerns and learning differences. She has first-hand experience with autism spectrum disorders, having successfully navigated therapeutic and school placements for her own child. Ruby understands the importance of compassion and trust when working with families in crisis, who are worried and confused about how to move forward.

“The care, compassion and commitment shown by Ruby for our son’s emotional growth has been unmatched by any other professional. Her knowledge and experience has taken us as a family from a place with a teenage son in crisis to college acceptances and scholarships today. We couldnt have done it without her.”

Ruby graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Ruby started her career as an occupational therapist in inpatient psychiatry at San Francisco General Hospital. She then spent many fulfilling years in community mental health at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital in Boston, first as the Director of Vocational Services and later as the Coordinator of the Day Hospital Program. After moving to NJ, Ruby returned to inpatient psychiatry at Centrastate Medical Center before beginning her career as an educational consultant.
Ruby lives in Little Silver, NJ with her three children. She travels extensively to get to know first-hand the many programs  and schools she works with across the country.
